BSPR award - EuPA/ProCura Meeting 2010

BSPR will award up to two Fellowships to PhD students or early-stage post-doctoral researchers to support attendance at the 4th EuPA meeting in Portugal (http://eupa2010.fc.ul.pt/). A sum of UK£500 will be available for each Fellowship towards the costs of registration and accommodation (applicants will have to cover their own travel costs). Please complete and return the application form (attached/link document) by 20th August 2010.

BSPR award - HUPO 9th Annual World Congress 2010

BSPR will award up to two Fellowships to PhD students or early-stage post-doctoral researchers to support attendance at the 9th HUPO meeting in Sydney (http://www.hupo2010.com/). A sum of UK£1,000 will be available for each Fellowship towards the costs of registration and accommodation (applicants will have to cover their own travel costs). Please complete and return the application form (attached/link document) by 14th August 2010. Successful applicants will be notified by 20th August.

Summer School Fellowhsips 2010

The BSPR is pleased to announce that Dr Bashir Zeidan (University of Southampton) and Irina Armean (University of Cambridge) have been awarded BSPR bursaries to attend the 4th European Summer School on “Proteomic Basics". The Summer School will take place from August 1st - 7th 2010 at Kloster Neustift in Brixen/Bressanone, South Tyrol, Italy. The Summer School is a joint European Proteomics Association (EuPA) and German Proteomics Society (DGP)- training activity.

BSPR Fellowships and Awards 2010

The BSPR is pleased to announce the availability of several opportunities to support the attendance of young researchers at BSPR/EBI Annual Meeting.
  1. MJ Dunn Fellowships: up to two prestigious Fellowships will be awarded to PhD students or early-stage post-doctoral researchers to enable them to attend the annual BSPR meeting to be held in Hinxton, Cambridge in July 2010. Fellowships will cover the full cost of registration, conference dinner and on-site accommodation; awardees will be expected to contribute their own travel costs.
